Kadir & Sabur law office is the amalgamation of two Law Offices, namely Taqyuddin Kadir Law Office (since 2003) and Laode Muhammad Sabur Law Office (since 2000). Kadir & Sabur law office was established to synergize the long maintained strength in corporate and business law as well as commercial litigation, with a commitment to provide comprehensive, yet cost effective legal services to business clients of all sizes, in order for the clients to gain or maintain an advantage in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

With energetic approach and personally committed to achieving clients business goals, we stress to the clients the importance of avoiding business disputes as part of legal risk management through legal consultation and planning. It makes far more sense, and is generally less costly, to consult with an attorney prior to making significant business decision, such as transnational or domestic business transaction, establishing a new company, selling an existing company or any other significant business decision.

However, the realities of competition in the business world sometimes makes disputes unavoidable despite adequate planning. Such business disputes include breach of contract, tortuous interferences with business practices, and collection of business debt and any other forms of disputes related to public policy and regulation.

In the event that business disputes arise, aggressive representation with a focus on minimizing the client’s financial exposure shall be of our first priority. We have handled a number of complex business litigation cases for our clients, whether with District Court, Commercial Court, Administrative Court, Industrial Relation Court, High Court and Supreme Court.

Partners and Founders

Taqyuddin Kadir admitted to practice since 1995, obtained Bachelor of Laws (Sarjana Hukum) degree at the law faculty, Hasanuddin University in 1986 majoring in international law; postgraduate legal Courses Certificate, at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane Australia in 1996; Master of laws at the Law Faculty, University of Indonesia in 2006 majoring in economic law with concentration on corporate law. Before being a legal practitioner, Taqyuddin Kadir had been serving as a lecturer in law of international contract and public international law, at some private universities. His experiences in legal practice started in 1995 and has involved in a number of legal works and cases during his job at a Law Firm and Business Consulting in Jakarta. He continued focusing on handling legal works and cases especially in corporate and business law both litigation and transactional matters until now. His expertise in corporate and business law supports his capability to maintain his clients for the long terms relationship, either with local and multinational companies.

Laode Muhammad Sabur admitted to practice since 1997, obtained Bachelor of Laws (Sarjana Hukum) degree at the Law Faculty, Hasanuddin University in 1988; Master of Laws from Indonesia University in 2004, majoring in Business Law; Joined and passed the certified capital market short courses in 2005. Laode Muhammad Sabur has long rooted experiences in legal practice which started since 1997. He handled a lot of legal works of various size, either litigation and non-litigation. His experience and capability has backed him up to maintain his job on advising multinational companies on legal matters, and handled all kinds of their business transactions and any other legal aspects including but not limited to land acquisition, shares transfer, trademarks, merger and company acquisition.
